The Steering Committee (SC) leads the preparation and implementation of the IRWM Plan as well as future Plan amendments and updates. The SC manages consultant contracts, IRWM databases, budgets, schedules, reporting, and the IRWM Website.

The SC representatives actively manage projects from the ESRWMP member agencies. This committee also coordinates and implements the public outreach process within the Region and with neighboring IRWM Regions.

The SC manages and formally submits IRWM-related grant applications.

Steering Committee members attend PAC meetings for the purpose of conveying PAC recommendations to the ESRWMP.

Steering Committee meetings are open to all IRWM stakeholders and the general public to provide comments on agendized items.
